| Message | Hey! Namphu, Thanks so much for calling our friend and wishing her on her birthday. She was really touched. We took her out for a hindi movie and then had dinner at home. Wahhh(I am sure you can picture her.....getting down on her knees and focusing for the space needle in the back of us....he.he.he.eh) had to work little late so she stayed home and cooked for us. | Message | Hi Phurbu Namgyal, Tibetans in Bhutan are greatly honored to see you perform Tibetan songs there. Most of the audiences were Tibetans, and you brought so much happiness to those who attended the show. Bhutan doesn't really have it's own culture other than what they had copied from Tibet.They inform the tourists that they have rich culture, and have so much to teach the world. But if you go to the Bhutan National Library, it is mostly filled with Tibetan kangyur, Tangyur and thousands of Tibetan scholar's writings. They don't call these Tibetan language(boekae). To the tourists, they call these Choekae-- Bhutan's rich and unique culture. Anyway, you were very frendly, humble and respectful to everyone during ur stay in Bhutan. I don't think anyone should complain unless out of jealousy. take care and we love to have you come back to Bhutan again. |
