MessageVonnie: Thank you so much for this wonderful site. I have shed many tears ove the passing of this wonderful friend of ours. Neil was one of a kind! Renewing our friendship at past reunions was a highlight of each reunion. The emails received by me from him over the past few years are all saved and will remain very special memories. One in particular was after I had sent him an email birthday card one year that played the song "Happy Happy Birthday Baby." He got some funny looks from fellow workers over that one when he played it and he shared some of their comments with me. Neil will be missed by us all, but I can only imagine the deep loss that his wife and family are experiencing. It was an honor to know and love Neil. There is no doubt in my heart that Neil is watching over each of us. It was also an honor to pray for him and his family whenever he requested prayers from me, as I knew he always honored my prayer requests to him. He was a very gifted man, and a very spiritual man. He gave of himself to each of us and helped keep this wonderful connection that we all have. To Neil I say: Thank you Neil for giving of yourself so unselfishly. You are missed by all of your Yamato friends and I, for one, look forward to a reunion with you again, someday. God rest your soul and God watch over and protect your wonderful family. I pray that God will wrap His loving arms around each of your family members so that they will know and feel His presence always.

MessageThanks again Vonnie for sharing this with everyone. I have forwarded the link to my brother, Archie, who was friends with Xiaver (sp). Thanks again for your writing and keeping us posted.

MessageThank you for this page of memories. It brings back a lot to me of our dear Yamato. I learned a few new things about our school I never knew and I learned a little more about a fellow Warrior, Neil, who I will never forget. I am sure you are watching over us from heaven.

MessageSorry I messed up, and deleted my previous messages from David Yoshida 1962 & Jan Jackson-Magdaleno 1970. Thank you both for taking the time to sign my guestbook.

I am always happy to hear from any of you....it keeps us all connected....we are family!
