MessageCool site. My favorite local bands are Luckless, Nimble, and Flush. All of which i've seen live.

MessageMyself, i'm more faithful to the bands of yesterday. I used to watch a lot of local acts, but i haven't been able to keep up with what's going on.

I always loved bands like Endo and Burnt Black. But when I checked out this site, I found out they broke up. That sucks. But for the current local acts, I guess Fistfight and Wintersleep are pretty decent.

MessageI gotta say that this is a great site! Being a former Yarmouth resident who was involved in a few of the bands on this site, I am glad these bands have recorded history.

My idea of a good concert?
Well, let's see...

Chunk O Funk
Whiplash
Glitter Cinnamon
Holy F#%$
Fistfight
Bud Ogden
Knives Vs. Nerves...

Just a few that I find interesting.
Wouldn't that be a great show?

MessageI agree with Larry. lot of great bands from the past are in the disbanded section (burntblack, purple helmets, shatterpruf, carrie, my friend mathew) but the future holds great music too.
Just check out some of the current talent on this site- CRANBERRYHEAD, KNIVES VS NERVES, NIMBLE, PHILL AMON, GLITTER CINNAMON, FISTFIGHT etc.
I could go on. the point is: YARMOUTH IS A TALENTED TOWN!

MessageThere are a lot of great bands in the disbanded part of this website. It would be great to see some reunions happen. Whether it be acts that have only called it quits recently, or the ones that disbanded in the nineties, eighties, or further back.

This website should be considered of high impotance to anyone who cares about our community's musical history.

MessageJoey Bones did free outdoor concerts on main street for the last two summers. Now his music is documented on this site.

Congratulations!

MessageI went too the no cases over music week and I must say the music was good but it was really sad that no one turned out to actually take it in so much for supporting our local talent. Young people say there is nothing to do here and when given something to do nobody wanted too take advantage of it
