We are delighted that Luis Landin has joined the team and we look forward to him scoring many goals for the Dynamo. Our goal is to put together the best team possible and win championships for the people of Houston and as we assemble the team we try to find the best players that we can afford (given the fact that we have a salary cap) regardless of their ethnicity or heritage. Of course, we have enormous respect for the culture of football in Central America and in Mexico. We feel the passion that exists for the sport of football in all of the countries south of the border. Over the years we have had players from El Salvador, Venezuela and Argentina on our roster and we will continue to look for strong players for the nations of Central and South America that can help the Dynamo win championships. | Message | Hello, First off I will like to thank the Dynamo for finally getting a Latino player into the team. Thank you for putting a face we can all relate to and call a paisano. We all as Latino community in Houston, hope this is not the last player (Latino) that comes to the team. As you might be aware a large portion of the fan base is Salvadorian, and what best way to show support to them than by bringing Arturo Alvares to the Dynamo. I know this might not happen this season but hope for the next. Please consider the option, we Latino fans feel neglected and unappreciated and this will put a boost into the fan attendance per game. Thanks you for a great job, GO DYNAMO!!!! |
