MessageIf a breeder states that they never had any problems, then they are not telling the truth. Three years ago I took in three barnyard kittens that turned out to be Maine Coon Kittens. The first time that I sold a kitten I thought that people were nuts. Some people even told me that I was way to cheap. Well, I still get e-mails from my customers. Oh, I remember telling you that I began this when I was ill and was in and out of the hospital for a long time. The Lord had provided this hobby for me and was successful. The first time I sold kittens, I sold them for $50, then I tried $100. This is why when I adopt a kitten I take them to the vet at six weeks and pay for this out of my pocket. I want healthy kittens. I makes me sick that I lost my female cat because I took in other kittens. I miss her very much. If you talk to the vet at Conway, you will find that I took in over 30 kittens that I found in the yard and to the vet and paid for out of my pocket because I was tired of seeing kittens suffer. My other cats never became sick until two months ago. Leukemia was new to me because I never had it. I took care of my cat for three weeks and the fever would not break. I said I will never take in another kitten again that is not leukemia tested because I lost a family member to me. Have a heart! Buyers, I can find many.

MessageDear Holly,
I am sorry that the kitten was tested leukema positive. I had to have another kitten put to sleep today which I had since April 2, 2008. You made that comment that I must be racking in the money. If you sell animals, you should know that most breeders break even. You can contact leukemia at any time. You should know this because with any breeding, any illness can show up over time. I was not trying to take advantage of you. Please know that I just spent $400 at the vet today taking in 10 kittens. It is a very costly hobby. I will make things right and you can demand all you want. That does not get you anywhere. I made the mistake of taking in some kittens that I found and that is where it came from and will be taking the rest in my home next week. You said that you had leukemia in your home before too and lost kittens. That was in your e-mail. So I am still here and will make it right. I have with every one of my customers and I have adopted out 60 kittens in three years.

MessageOH MY GOSH!!! You were 100% right, I fell in love with in 30 minutes and that was even after he pottied on the new carpet. Carol, our little brussel is just adorable and how I ever refused my husband for so long on getting a puppy I'll never know. We named him Brissle due to his little bushy face. Of course that is not his registered name but if you could have a Monkeyface Verdell......well need I say more. smilie
Anyway thank you for the ball of energy and a wonderful companion that I almost refused! I'm not sorry in the least and I love him. My only regret is not coming to meet you in person and see your wonderful place. My husband tells me it is awsome and your dogs and rest of animals are great. He wanted to bring the new little pony home he said so I guess that is next in our family. smilie Again thank you...

MessageI got my newest Yorkie from Carol, which makes the second dog I have gotten from her. The first was Bert a German Shepherd who is still WONDERFUL and very healthy. Now at long last I have my third Yorkie which I have been wanting for a long time. "I'm Spartacus" (Sparky) is a 3 pound ball of fire who rules the roost around here. He recieved a BIG thumbs up smilie from my Vet when I had him checked out as I took him on a trial basis. Sparky is a "little boy" with a BIG attitude smilie and we love him to pieces. Most importantly, one of my other Yorkie's, my precious Obee, loves him and Obee is who Sparky was purchased for. Obee needed a playful companion, and Sparky more than fills the bill, just like he has filled our hearts. My family is COMPLETE. Thank you Carol, for adding another precious "kid" into our home and hearts.

I also want to say how sorry we are that you lost Clifford to Rainbow Bridge. He was a wonderful dog, and I know he will be missed so much by you and Marshall. God Bless you for taking Clifford in and giving him such a special home for the past few years of his life.

Messagesmilie Carol, thankyou for bringing this little ball of energy into our lives. smilie I never owned a puppy in my life and I am now learning what everyone talked about. I am so very happy to join in conversations now about MY 4 legged baby. smilie You were also right, a pug was the right kind of dog for me. We get along great. Even tho she was a special need baby she sure don't act like it now.
I wanted to thank you for all of the time you spent sending me pictures, and answering all of my questions. You are a very nice lady and I enjoyed visiting with you. You have some very special dogs and puppies and I was glad to see how much attention you spend with them. I could tell from the way they got excited when you got into their site that they love you very much. You should be proud of your kennel. And for other readers This is NOT a pupppy mill or anything of the such...It was great! I'd recommend Mar-Car kennel to anyone looking for a puppy.
Shasta and Baby Shelia (my best friend)
smilie this is me trying not to step on Shelia.

Messagesmilie Hi Carol,
Just wanted to say that Tarzan is doing fantastic now. He passed his physical with flying colors and the vet gave us another dose of the pink stuff for his cold. He is about over it but they wanted to make sure. smilie Me too. He is a big hit with the whole family. They all couldn't believe how fast a little fat puppy could run or how much one could poop. smilie But you were right he is very good at going on the puppy pads.
Thank you again for bringing such a pleasure into our family again. I didn't think my husband would ever love another puppy after losing our little Foogie. smilie

Messagesmilie Hurray,,we finally got our little boy from you...seemed it would take for ever fot the last 5 weeks to creep by. We couldn't wait to get him home. He is the cutiest little guy but we still haven't decided on a name. Every time we think we have it he does something else to change his name. I think we are going to try to stick with Dexter. It was Dan's dad's name. We couldn't give him a grandson to carry on his name so he will have to settle with a grandpuppy named after him. smilie anyway thank you Carol for bringing so much happiness into our life, you did a fantastic job in bring up our little Dexter for his first 8 weeks...now its up to us for the rest of his life. thank you... smilie
