Spent most of my life in the brewing industry, retired once but got bored, now running a small community brewery in Cumbria and doing a bit of brewing consultancy work. Still overweight but active with it (45 miles cross country run in 7hrs 58min)20 years into second marriage & still ga ga. | Message | Hiya Omnes Amici As we all reach the golden age of 60 during this coming school year, we thought it would be appropriate to organise a reunion of the class born 1946/1947 (takes into account differing arrival/leaving dates for all!!! The proposed dates are SAT/SUN MAY 19TH/20TH OR SAT/SUN JUNE 9TH/10TH VENUE:- SHEFFIELD There are several alternatives for us to meet, 1. PUB, 2.'new' SCHOOL 3.Hire a ROOM/HALL? The choice probably would depend on how many of us can make it. If we choose a pub we can arrange eating there depending on what everyone wants. If we decide on a hall or if the school would let us go there (I'll investigate that possibility), we would probably need to have caterers. If any of you have contacts for that let me know. Let me know which of the weekends you can make, whether the Sat or Sun is better, or both!!! Look forward to hearing from you. Pass this on to any contacts you have that aren't on my list. | Message | Hi every one I think Alan has done a superb job of the web site,even my hubby checks it out. I think he secretly wishes his school had one. Am thoroughly enjoying life in Australia, would love to hear of any up coming reunions for 1958-1965 peoples, I may get to one before I'm too old!!

| Message | Happily married to Ann since October of 1969. (Yes I left in 69 too - must have been the testosterone I'd built up over the years?) Two wonderful boys, both married and enjoying life to the full. One in the RAF and one in IT management. (I don't recommend having your son in a war zone though) Have four grandsons, two inherited but I love them all. Pity we don't have a girl in the family but you never know. (No chance of that according to my boys) I work in in IT getting around Northern UK on a regular basis. Good job I love driving! Still live in Woodhouse. Missing football, but at my age golf has taken over. I was only saying the other day that I never really bump into any of my old school mates, although I did end up playing in the same footbal team as Bob Rastrick for a few years. God bless those that remember me and for those that don't, I was one of the quiet ones. My, how things change!
