| Message |  Hi everyone!!Thought I would share our information on a tournament series at home on the local lake. I'am in NY for a few weeks for work and got to see the Yankees vs Whitesox game last fri nite. Great game and ball field. "The Catfish Showdown" This catfishing series started in 2003 and has become huge in the aea. Go to www.thecatfishshowdown and take a look. The pictues are in the galleries under the tournament section on the home page. We've been televised all year locally and more is to come. If you are in the area on 9/16/06 be sure to check out our 4th. annual "Kids Fishing Day". In 2005 we had 220 kids ages 13 and under with nearly 700 people in attendance. Great site guys! |

| Message | as i sit here in iraq it is awsome to read about big catfishing. catch one for me will ya please. i will be home in this fall hopefully in time to hit the fall run. i fish river and gravel pits in northwest iowa. 27 1/2 lb channel is my all time big fish. i had to go to northern minnesota on the red river to get it but it was a hell of a good fight. i love what you have done with the site. good tips and ideas. keep up the great work. sgt travis waterman |
