People tell us many things about it, but seeing it on the videos and reading about it thru your son's letters helps me understand more. I am so proud of my son, yet a bit nervous about all that he will encounter. I just really hope that he will do well, I have alot of confidence in him, and your information here stabilizes the anxiety some. | Message | Hi John, My future son-in-law is currently in boot camp and is graduating on April 11th. We are anxiously awaiting our trip to Illinois. I just wanted to take the time to thank you for all the time you spend helping family members out by answering questions, offering support, guidance, etc. That is a very kind and generous thing for you to do. As a sister of a recently retired Master Chief Storekeeper, I know the pride that comes with having family in the Navy. Best wishes to both your children. God bless! |

| Message | The only suggestion that I have for you Billy is to have the family ask him when he calls home again. They really should have got the graduation passes and the Recruit is responsible for that. |

| Message | My nephew is scheduled to graduate from Great Lakes boot camp on March 14. His family has still not gotten any word about the passes or tickets! Apparently he was sick in bed when the packets were sent out and told my brother a couple of weeks ago he would check about getting a packet sent... but still nothing. His family has purchased airline tickets and is planning to go but can't seem to get any information about whether they are on the list or will be able to get in! They have had no recent word from their recruit. Any suggestions? |

| Message | Hello Navymom div 004/ 2007 Congratulations to your son. Technology really is great. After boot camp we talked to our kids on MSN messenger, webcam and by cell phone several times a week. Thanks for posting the info about letters and Graduation. I am sure it will be helpful to allot of people. We are also in South East Kansas.
