MessageHi Richie,

Your performance Thursday night at Hippiefest blew me away. And thanks so much for giving me the pick at the end! It was a wonderful surprise ending to an amazing (but unfortunately too short) set. You definitely stole the entire show as far as I'm concerned.

If the weather Friday hadn't been so awful, my friend and I would have driven from Manhattan to Mohegan Sun to catch the Mountain show.

I look forward to hearing your CD and seeing you play again, especially a solo show where you will be on guitar and out front. As someone else said on this guestbook, you do play bass like a guitar player, so it figures you'd bring the same dynamic style to the bass. Whatever you play, I'm sure you infuse amazing energy into it.

I'll see you at BB King's on 42nd St. in June with Mountain, if there's no other gigs in the NYC/LI area before June. (June is way too long to wait!)

Keep on rockin' in the free world!

All the best,

Cathy

MessageHello Richie!-

The new album is amazing. You never fail to
deliver the goods. I've been a fan since
my friend Jeff made a copy of "hit for hit"
for me. I then searched and got my own vinyl
copy. This was when you rejoined Ace in 89.
Your own tunes are as cool as the cool covers
you choose. The babys, Silverhead, etc. Whoa!

Take care from Justin in California

MessageHi Richie! How are you doing? Just recently my husband Dennis and I just saw you played with Mountain on stage at the Starland Ballroom in N.J., we were standing in the first front row close to the stage by your standing.I dont know if you remembered us but right the end of the show, just when you and Corky came walking out to go to the lobby, you and Dennis just saw each other and were giving each other a nice big hug, like you guys or "brothers or cousins or even best friends". It was really nice of you!Anyway, the show was really great, and we like to thank you for the guitar pick with your name on it.Anyway, we also saw you at the Stone Pony show located in Asbury Park,N.J.,on your birthday '05,and we saw you again with Mountain at the Blueclaws Stadium in our home town Lakewood,N.J.for the Wingstock Fest., and we been bupping into you to say Hi.Hey Rich,my birthday is next month.(Feb.23rd),and I'll be 42 soon, and Dennis would really love to invite you and Joann over, but we don't know what's our future plan yet.He would love to get together with you again ever since you guys were hanging out in the limo together. I have never met Joann before but I've seen some photos of her on your web and she seems like a very nice person and she looks more Italian. She's pretty.Anyway, so Richie, when you have time please do please do send us an e-mail, we would LOVE to hear from you! And we are looking forward to come to your shows with Mountain and to get to meeting you again. Luv,Angie

MessageHi Richie,
guess you remember me: In June 1992 we met the first time, when you played with Leslie, Paul and Blue Cheer in Braunschweig. After the show we went into the Kottan pub, where you played at the bar piano, Blue Cheer joined later as well, really one of the best party i have been so far.
May 2002 we met again at the Bluesgarage in Hannover, i appreciate, that you still remembered me then; now, time to get over here again smilie
So in general, i just want to say hi and wishing all the best for 2007.
Keep rockin“ smilie
Peter

Messagehi richie!...really enjoyed your show (mountain)at the boulton theatre in bay shore, ny last night. i was in the first row and had never seen you before. i realized you must be a guitarist based on the way you played bass...sort of like a 6 string lead player would interpret the bass...it was really cool. by the way, i saw leslie with the vagrants at SUNY stony brook college in the late 60's and was floored by his singing and playing. the next time i ran into him was at a cream concert (i believe their first tour about 1970) in commack long island. i had a front row seat and leslie came up to me with his band (in full dress) and politely asked me if i would mind switching seats with him as i had a better seat. i did it and i was truly in awe of him at the time...not many people would get me to move to the second row when i wanted to watch claptons fingers and figure out what the heck he was doing to get those sounds! ...nice seeing you..ken
