| Message | Hello Kraan from Australia. I have been a fan of Kraan since I first heard you late '74. I only have a few early albums. Hard to get your material out here. Above all your sound is original and individual, and use of material as it suits eg. the Eastern sounds. Favourite tracks: Picnic International, Holiday Am Marterhorn, Let it Out, Degado, Son of the Sun Unique drumming from Jan with fascinating sense of time - very creative and always sounds interesting and adding to the whole experience. Pappert's sax was such a strong element- hope he comes back. Nice reedy sound and lots of character. Wish I could play guitar like Peter - very tasty solos Pete! Choppy rhythmns and some nice chord sounds. Lyrics don't get the way of the instrumentals. Evocation of "sunsets" occurs to me a lot in Kraan tunes - I wonder if anyone else picks up on that? cheers for now then, Peter PS I'd love to jam with you guys! |
