MessageDear Rev. Murrell,

My husband, William Hutchins, and I were married at St Matthias on December 20, 1975 ( I was also confirmed there.) Would it be possible to get a copy of our marriage certificate? We will be visiting Barbados over Christmas, and I would love to be able to obtain a copy from the church.

I also wondered if it is possible to purchase a copy of the Caribbean hymnal (with music) through the church. I tried sometime back to get one online, but was unsuccessful. I noted you were taking orders last year from your parish. I sing in the choir of my church here (Church of the Redeemer, Bethesda Maryland, USA).

Thank you for any assistance you can offer me.

Sincerely,

Lois Burleigh

I came to the church in August 1985. I came to one service and met Mr Bourne who let me play the old pipe organ and then I played during communion and then I played for a wedding when Rev Peter Fenty was minister. My address is

MessageGood Day
My daughter and I are visiting your beautiful island, we missed the time of the local service (St. Lucy's)today Sunday. Our hosts found your Wednesday service at 9:30, my question is this a regular mass with communion or a shorter service? At home our Wednesday services are communion only.

Thank you
Patty

MessageBringing greetings from Calvary Episcopal Church in Washington DC, USA.

I am looking forward to attending your service during my visit on your island this month. I am residing nearby and can hear the lovely music wafting through the air. And the bells are a wonderful reminder of God's hourly blessings!

MessageIt was 5 years ago tomorrow that my wife Helen and I were married in St Matthias Church. We had a small gathering of family and friends together with a beautiful choir and Rev. Canon DeVere Murrell.

The day was a beautiful way to start married life and we couldn't have asked for a nicer person to conduct the ceremony. The day will live long in our hearts, together with our time on your beautiful island.

One day we hope to get back to you and visit with our 2 baby girls. Until then, thanks again for a unforgettable day.

MessageDear Rev. Murrell,

Moira and I have now returned home to Scotland. We attended St. Matthias Church for Sunday services on each of the six weeks we were on your beautiful island and found your services to be very inspirational.

We were received very well by members of your Church and made to feel really at home in God's house in your Parish. Indeed having also attended in 2010, my wife and I feel as though we are now almost members!

We send greetings from Inchture Parish Church, of which my wife and I are Elders, and hope that anyone in your Congregation who might be visiting the East of Scotland would contact us and come to visit our Church.

There are 4 Churches in our "Linkage" in the Carse of Gowrie. Our website is http://www.carsechurches.com Although we are currently "in vacancy", we are expecting to welcome our new Minister in the next few weeks!

Once again, many thanks. We are planning already to come to Barbados again in February 2012 for 4 weeks and look forward once again to come to St. Matthias - it will be something to look forward to for the next year!

God Bless you all,

Alan & Moira Borwell
