Just talked to Nick a minute ago - he managed to get on the right airport, sort out his tickets and check in his lugagge - hopefully him and the backpack will be in the same plane  Apparently its gonna be something between 24 and 30 celsius in Rio these days - something to be jelous about (at least me)... I´m back from New Zealand,and as i know you are going there as well,just some advices......DON´T STAY TOO LONG IN AUCKLAND!!!!!!!,i mean in the city,there´s not much to see there(don´t tell to your auntie!!!!) But is very good to travel to many nice places like Rotorua,Bay of Islands,some small islands not far from Auckland by ferry (15 min-30 min)(my favourite one was waiheke,i,m sure people in there never heard about the word STRESS!!!!!!) ....and i´m sure that you will find even more places than what i did....but i really enjoyed.I´ll send you some pictures and i´ll tell you about the places where we went. I´ll follow all your expiriences now that you already left UK..... Enjoy,and i´ll see you in june!  |

I took a look at your planned route and saw that you finally decided to avoid North America, which in some ways is smart as flights from the UK to either US/Canada are currently pretty cheap.
