| Message | My husband Tom passed away in May, 2000. He was too ill to make the trip from Dallas to San Diego for the 50th reunion of the class of '49. He wrote a letter to his classmates and sent it in care of the alumni office. More than one person told me it was a beautiful message. I would love to get a copy of his letter. I inquired at the office a few years ago and was told they didn't have a copy, so any of you Saints (or forty-niners) who may have a copy, please contact me at this e-mail address. | Message | Hello all. I have stayed in San Diego (minus a few misguided years in Los Angeles). I married in 2000 and my wife Lisa and I have two boys. Luke is 3 and Jake is 1. I did meet my wife in LA so, that was the only good thing about leaving San Diego. I work for Sharp HealthCare for five years and I am the Director of Finance for Sharp Rees-Stealy. I earned my bachelors in accounting from SDSU and a MBA from Woodbury University - Los Angeles. The campus is amazing. I wish I was there to enjoy the new buildings. But, these baby Saints men will never know the thrill of dashing across the street, dodging cars just making it to Deke’s homeroom before the bell. |

| Message | Patty and I are living and working in Campo, for Fr. Joe's Villages. We manage the two working ranches he has out hear. We are doing well and like life after retirement. Our sons both are here in SD (Lemon Grove[class of 91]). Kevin works for Starwood, and Tim is our Program manager here at "Rancho San Vincente," a retreat center and equestrian facilty. The "Flying A," our second ranch is in the SD County DPLU process. SVDP has planned a "Childrens Village." It will be an inovative program designed to keep family siblings together. For us life after the 1st carreer is more rewarding and exciting. |
