MessageThank you so much for this sight! My heart aches when i see these photos,i miss Bury so badly. I lived at RAF Mildenhall for 3 years and i would go to bury on the double decker almost every sat. It is my most favorite place. I am even trying to get a good photo of the Bury crest for a tattoo. Is andys records still there? I left 9 Nov 97. Its been too long away. Thank you for the photos, they are wonderful. I can not wait to come back for a pint in the nut shell. God bless, and please continue the site! Mel from Akron Ohio

MessageHi Ruby

Just to let you know I am a big fan of your blog, living in Stradishall after moving up from London ten years ago. On here again when I should be ironing, kids are driving me crazy, who the hell invented school holidays? Visited my parents in London at the weekend, I had forgotten how unfriendly and hostile everyone down there is, couldn't wait to get back to lovely Suffolk. I love your blog, especially your photos and 'snippets/overheards' - I like the new layout too. Keep it up, although I really should be cleaning my house instead smilie

MessageDiscovered your wonderful blog while surfing for the Nutshell Pub. I was stationed at RAF Mildenhall in the 60's, lived in barracks at RAF Feltwell. Met and married a lovely English lady. Returned in the late 70's through the early 80's... stationed at RAF Upper Heyford in Oxfordshire. Have family in Yorkshire and on Westbury Ave, BSE! Returned in '96 on vacation. If I can find them I'll see if I can send a few of my old photos of Bury. Again, a delight to find your blog amid the millions of pages out there in cyberspace. Cheers from Merced California.

MessageI just started blogging last month and only now discovered how to view others' blogs. Yours is particularly charming and so well written. Perhaps I'll include more stories about where I live, Washington, DC. But then, no one will believe anything written by an actual resident. We're invisible to everyone else. . .

MessageWe love your blog and like to see pictures of Bury St Edmunds, what has happened to the webcam in the Abby Gardens? can't find it anymore, maybe they can stick it up on Moyes Hall so we expats can get a look at the market. We visited Bury last year and loved it. We live in southern Ontario about a 45 minute drive from Niagara Falls. Keep up the good work...and thanks. smilie
