MessageMy mother was born in Bury. In 2005 we walked from the railway station and vividly remember the shop in your photo. Bury is just the prettiest town in England. My mum was born in Northgate street and went to school across the road from her house. We stayed at Norah Lofts house in Northgate St.I think it has been sold now and no longer a B and B. My mum was best friends with Pearl, Norahs sister. More family history.
Thanks for the lovely photo, it gave me such a thrill now I am back Down Under. Hope to make another trip next year. You are one lucky girl living in Bury.

MessageMy husband just found out that he is getting stationed at RAF Lakenheath, so I've been researching the area. I came across your site, and i really enjoyed it. It makes me want to find a house in Bury St Edmunds. I love all of your pictures, as I also like to take pictures of the everyday things around me. (not that mine are any good) Thanks for your great site!

MessageI have just been directed to your blog via a BSE search on tripadvisor.com and have spent a very happy couple of hours giggling away at your take on life in this fantastic town, we recently moved to BSE from North Yorkshire and we love it. You are now saved to my favourites and I have emailed the link to all my friends. Keep up the good work and if I see a woman taking pictures of strange goings on around the town I will definately say hello - you are a gem.

MessageHello Ruby, great website! Love the poems and photos. I have had some memorable moments in your city, as a very good friend of mine moved there. Sadly, I haven't seen her for ages but I live in hope that I'll hear from her soon.
