| Message | Brod Nyke, we are in touch with brod melchor and we are glad of plans to improve our site. i have given his contact number to our alumni sisters in charge of the anniversary of the sorority like sis jane. We would like to thank our alumni for their attendance during or dinner meeting at breakthrough last wednesday. After enjoying conversations in a sumptuous dinner there, alumni and residents alike shared what they have financially. Like one family, we gave what we can. As a result, we were able to pay for our delicious dinner and raised seed money for continuing preparations for the sorority's anniversary. kudos to all brods and sis! In addition, the SIGMA CHI & MU SIGMA PHI Foundation chaired by Brod Tomas Sajo himself continuous to successfuly raised financial resources through the generous donations from alumni all over the world. In time, scholarships will be awarded once again to our members. For our other alumni who want to extend support to the organization especially for our anniv, pls contact proper channels to ensure that our resources are used appropriately. If I may suggest that all residents keep in touch with Brod Melchor since we have already initiated that our own website be created soon so we can discuss whatever we want in that board. | Message | Ameeting was held last Wednesday February 7, 2007 at Breakthrough restaurant attended by 31 resident members and alumni to discuss committee assignments for the 45th anniversary of our beloved Sisters in the MU SIGMA PHI Sorority. No less than our founder Dr. Tomas A. Sajo was present to provide guidance to the meeting. We also enjoyed the company of Sis Sarah Severino (Manila), Brod Dennis Jereza (US) and Sis Elsie S. Alipalo (Australia). The meeting was presided by Sis Jane Viajar Sorianosos Zehtab-Jadid. The residents were headed by the GA Kristian Ballener and MIS Maileen Seneres. We are inviting other alumni to volunteer ur tym and resources in the preparation. | Message | Dear Brods and Sis, just a few updates of what has transpired for the past couple of months. The resident members have won two matches in the elimination round (vs. Teacher's college) and semi-finals (vs. College of Engineering and Architecture) in the St. Augustine's Cup - Inter Departmental Debate Series and are now preparing for the championship match vs. College of Pharmacy and Medical technology this Feb 15 8am. We are inviting our alumni here in iloilo to witness the match at the student center-alumni hall. If we win the match, it will be again bring honor to the fraternity and sorority as we are the only organization competing against all colleges of the university. We need everybody's support. Speakers: Sis Maileen Seneres (Best Speaker-Eliminations, Sis Kristine Ecube (Best Speaker & Best Debater - Semis) and Sis Joyce Gamboa. Researchers are Brod Art Postolero, Brod Ryan De Asis and Sis Joy Suyom. |
