MessageHi, Deb! Are you doing a little dance w/the finishing of your book? I know what that feels like!

If Jo was a dog, I'd call him "chocolate." smilie
But since he's not . . . he's too dark for a bay, isn't he?

Have a grand summer. Love your webpg.

MessagePerhaps your horse is "bay". I had to ask my son's girlfriend for even a guess.

I rejoice with you, Deborah. Finishing a book is certainly a milestone!

Blessings,
Carol

MessageHi, Deborah! Being from Indiana, I can well remember the corn harvest in the summer. Took my husband back one year to visit. He's a farm boy from upstate NY. All he could see was corn growing for miles around and he couldn't get over how flat the land was. Said it took away half the challenge of farming smilie
Abundant blessings!

MessageOk, I assume this is cheating, as I owned Josiah for a summer. He doesnt have a real "color" it has changed and changed. He is gray with some darker gray, with a tannish brown mixed it. His head is almost gray except for his lovely horsey nose that is brown and gray. Some days I would swear he will be a gray, but other days I just am not sure. smilie

MessageYour summer might be busy, but I always enjoy reading your website because it's so peaceful. Life away from the rush of the city, kids playing outdoors, raising cows and picken corn. . .Ahh. It seems to be life the way God intended. smilie

MessageHello Deborah
It's hard to tell from the picture, so I'm going to guess (twice). He looks like a bay, but if he has that grey in his face he could be going grey (at four, it's slower than usual) or he could be a gruella. Does he have a dark dorsal stripe?
I enjoy your website. I think I might have heard a faint blare of trumpets when I read that you had written the last words! WooHoo!!!! Congrats!
Sandra
