| Message | Hi Mary, We just want you to know that Baloo died in his sleep on Wednesday, April 12. I came home at 9:00 pm and he didn't come running with the other dogs as he normally does. I went searching for him and found him by the side gate. He was still warm, and we suspect that he had just recently passed. As far as we knew, he was very healthy with the exception of an under active thyroid that was being treated with medication. He had been sluggish for about 2 days, but no other symptoms. We had decided if he wasn't feeling better by Saturday we would take him to our vet to be checked out. We suspect congestive heart failure. All of us are heartbroken. Veronica and Gentry are most affected by his death. Joe and I are extremely sad and grieving along with them, but they had a very special bond. When I lose Sage I will be beyond words... | Message | I was brought to tears watching the Westminster dog show and saw the name rising star. I sent Jennifer email this morning as I was happy to see her doing so well. I have fond memories of our travels and fun we had. I will never forget seeing Beefy from across a pond in a park and told Dennis "what is that dog", I have to have one. I wish things were different but cant hold people to their vows. I wish you and Micheal all the best. Beefy was the best and he was lucky to have you both as parents. Lindy |
