Messagejustine - please pass on our congratulations to all involveed in last night's performance of Oh What a Lovely War.It was a brave decison to choose it and a challenge to stage it. But it worked and fortune favours the brave. I thought the prodution was imaginative, the humour approriate and the whole event a fitting tribute to those 10 million who lost their lives for us. I particularly liked some of the touches in the programme, especially the In Remembrance pages, likewise the exibition in the Stone Hall reminding us that these were real people with links to the present - not mere numbers. It would be invidious to single out any individual and this was the type of production where team work was the order of the day - listing the cast in alophabetical order was another nice touch in the programme. The cast pulled of a tour de force with some great music and drama, the set was simple and effective and costumes excellent.

Many thanks to everyone for providing us with an excellent evening of thought provoking live theatre.

MessageI just thought I would drop in and say how very much I enjoyed the cabaret you performed at the River Village Hall recently. It was wonderful to see some of the older 'troupers' perform alongside the very youngest, and what a good job they all did. With your young members performing so well what a lot I have to look forward to when I see them performing again. We had a marvellous evening and look forward to seeing your next production. Great fun and very well done to you all!

MessageHi Dover

I very much enjoyed looking at your Dick Whittington backstage pictures. We have also just finished a production of Dick Whittington. And it proved to be our most successful production ever, both in terms of audience figures and revenue. After suffering continually falling audiences for longer than we care to remember, We sourced Dick Whittington and our previous script, Jack And The Beanstalk from a new online publisher www.limelightscripts.co.uk and both productions actually increased our audiences. We can only put this down to the excellent scripts from Limelight. All of their scripts are no more than two years old, rather than the usual offerings which can be more than twenty two years old. And I would heartly recommend them to any group looking for pantomime scripts,

Best regards

Jackie
