|Message||Ah, Nam! Labes? I am pleased to have found your blog, and hear news that you were in Peace Corps! I was almost sent to Morocco for Peace Corps, but bureaucracy stepped in the way, and I wound up in Sub-Saharan Africa. Our impending high school reunion got me to wondering what certain folks were up to, and so I sought you out. I don't think I'll go to the reunion, but it would be good to hear from you, Inshallah, (although I have a pretty good idea from your blog what you've been up to!) What have I been up to...? I'm on a temporary leave of absence from teaching to be a mommy to my 4 month old daughter, Naia! Alhamdulillah!|

|Message||Oh my gosh -- I just ran across your blog. I can't believe you are in Morocco as a Peace Core Volunteer. I'm going to read your blog and catch-up with you. |
I hope all is well -- I'm still in San Jose, CA doing PR. So boring compared to you. All the best to you.
I really like your site. I am an inspiring bodhisattva, and an INFP. I just wanted to introduce you to an organization some INFPs are trying to start. It's here:
We are mostly INFPs. But please check out the International section in the forum. We are trying to collect people together from all over the world. What other languages do you speak? We are just starting and getting off the ground.
I stumbled across your message board online. I'm currently in the applicatin process for the Peace Corps. I just sent my medical forms in this week. I was hoping Insha'Allah that I'd get to go to either Morocco or Jordan because I speak arabic and am Muslim, but the interviewer nominated me to go to SubSaharan Africa instead. I have spoken with several returned Peace Corps volunteers and they said the best thing to do would be to contact someone in country now. Do you have any information on new projects beginning in Morocco? Or any way of requesting people to work on projects there? I have a BS in business and entrepreneurship, I've owed my own small herbal business and have set up a jewelry making business for my sister. I grew up on a farm and also have agriculture skills and am now working as a teacher for handicapped children for a local school system.
Any help you could give would be greatly appreciated.
Julie hi - thank you for visiting and leaving a message. i didn't check the messages in the guestbook for a long time, my apology. i hope that you've been able to get into the peace corps -- but just be aware the application process is tideous, let me know if you have specific questions (either here or via email). - nl
