MessageAs many of you are probably aware the battalion is currently starting to deploy on their third tour in Afghanistan.
I have written to the CO and RSM inviting them to the Reunion in March but in all likelihood the battalion will not have returned. Hopefully a representative will be able to attend on their behalf,as happened when they were on their last tour.
I also, of course,on behalf of all members of the Club wished both them and the soldiers God speed, our wishes for a successful and safe tour and that our thoughts will be with them.

I'm very sorry to inform everybody that Dave Burns (ex A, C & D Coy 3 Para and ex 9 Sqn) died in the Royal Cornish Hospital, Truro early this morning of a suspected heart attack.

I have contact details for his wife if anyone needs them and will post the funeral details once they are known.

Rest in Peace Dave.
