MessageDear Chairman,
Many thanks for that it just goes to show that flexibility is THE main principle of battle procedure (none of that CAKE nonsense)
What I should have said in my previous post was that should the "wheels come off" the previous weekend against the Tartan Army.....unlikely but this will probably provoke a reaction from the McCallums etc then the final game will pale into insignificance!!!!!

Swing Low Sweet Chariot and Safe Landings

Unlikely my #*#*...We're going to do the business so that the England match against Ireland will be irrelevant. From an anonymous Scotsman with control of the messages??? And safe landings yourself.

MessageBack in UK.
I believe all the funerals went well and were attended by Club members. We will make donations to the various charities involved once that is cleared through the AGM.
Which brings me onto Blandy's heartfelt request (!!!). Being the Very understanding and accommodating Chairman that I am (!), I don't see a problem bringing forward the AGM to 1600, although it will impinge on Happy Hour! The reception can start at 1930, which should allow people to get changed etc.
On an unrelated point - I have received a request from Bill Evans, the Secretary of the Swansea PRA branch asking for any information anyone might have on a Sgt Owen Carey who served with the battalion from 1962 to around 1971. If you knew him or have anything then please contact Bill by phone on 01792 473145 or by email to [email protected].
Regards to all and look forward to seeing many of you in Blackpool.
