| Message | I have a 1982 2+2GL 5spd & T-tops that has been sitting for about 5 years. My second Z, I kept it original - radio, cassette, alloys. It was running when I parked it, but has since developed three flat tires and a case of hose rot. My intention was to get it up and running again - life got in the way. Need to get rid of it but hate to junk it. Would rather see her go to a good home.I hoped that a Z collector forum/guest book would be the best way to find one. Great project car? | Message | I've been a Z enthusiast since my first beater 84 n/a. I've always wanted to own a better condition Z since then and now I recently purchased an 86 n/a. I'm hoping to get together with fellow enthusiasts and do meets/drives/shows/etc. I love my Z31s but I also would like to have a 240Z or two. |

| Message | Here's a 1978 280Z, very clean, and all original other than the mag wheels. Transmission: Automatic. Mileage: 37,800 (137,800). Runs strong on the highway. Here's some of the highlights: Nice paint, always garaged (has to be since I have classic car insurance on it) matching the original Nissan 510 Light Blue color. The previous owner had it painted in July 2002. Very little rust. The only rust I could find was on the rocker panels where it's bubbling under the paint. Yokohama Tires--Avid Touring Tires 195-70R-14 (80,000 mile warranty) about 27,000 miles ago I have receipts for all work done since November 2002 Valves adjusted and tuned up in May 2008 by Sunrise Z in Glendora When I bought it in 2002, I had new ball joints, KYB struts front and back, poly bushings and oil pan gasket changed. All new emblems were added. the automatic transmission shifts smoothly and it starts up cold in an instant. It does not go past the midway point on the temp gauge. Car just passed smog for the second test in a row. Has passed in 2008 and this year easily. I need to pay the tags for 2010 which are due this month. It has A/C but it is not operational and I never wanted to fix it anyway. It has all original Nissan glass and i replaced most of the weather stripping about 3 years ago. It has all new carpet, new full dash cap, new center console, and a new Interstate Battery. It has mag wheels with wheel locks. e-mail pls. $5995 tad negotiable here! |
