| Message | just dropping by to say "hi". i first got your dvd back in November of 2002. a cute black chick gave it to me as i was walking into the Egyptian Theatre to see ROLLING THUNDER. i got home that night and watched the movie. shit had me laughing all night long  i have met Mr. Packard several times at my film school New Beverly Cinema. very nice guy. i told him he has balls for doing REFLECTOINS. great movie. now that i live in Arizona and people ask what LA is like i just let them see that movie. some are shocked and some are entertained.have a better one- X.O.n |

| Message | Was introduced to reflections through a good friend, and it is brilliant. Been reading your site and it's sad to see the behavioral institute and your observations are correct. All I can say is there are still people out there who have a brain, we're just getting more diluted each day. I weep for humanity after reading those observations though, another sad confirmation of a very cynical point of view.  Might I suggest though that many people dismissed the idea of a free dvd not because of a lack of interest, but because of the propensity of huge firms to attempt marketing manipulation through spam? People are just being overloaded with information these days, and need the ability to absorb it at their own pace, but society is structured in a way which intentionally or not denies people that luxury. This results in engineered acceptance of products from those with the loudest voice (the most money). From my interactions I would say many people intuitively recognize this for what it is but one side effect of this structure is it denies people the time to devise or organize an effective way to express, let alone fix this problem.  weather by intentional design or extraordinary accident we are being engineered as a whole to be "one size fits all". While it's great for monolithic corporate entities, it's incompatible with human nature and individuality. Hopefully the eventual awakening from this collective slumber will not involve cataclism. |

| Message | Hi, I saw some of Reflections of Evil at a gallery in London a little while back, loved it, and have been waiting for ages to get hold of the DVD. I was broke then, but the memory of your evil lived on, and now that I have a job, I think i can possibly manage sparing 10 US dollars for a DVD. So how do I go about getting hold of Reflections of evil and Star Wars Mocumentary? Could you sell me both for $10 and include postage too? I'm a bit low on cash at the moment and the exchange rate is poor. In fact i may not be be to do it come to think of it, perhaps i could persuade you to lower the price to $5 and include Lost in the Thinking too? cheers Gavin UK |

| Message | I just wanted to say that I got the copy of Reflections of Evil that I ordered the other day. Reflections of Evil is one of the most brilliant and original films that I have ever seen. I was first made aware of your work last year when I happened to rent a copy of the horror films shorts DVD Experiments in Terror. Your short entitled Dawn of the Evil Millennium stood out from the rest of the shorts on that DVD and completely blew me with the original filmmaking style and the general look of the film. A filmmaker friend of mine and I were recently having a discussion about the experimental/noise music and the films that fit a similar style. I am a noise artist (www.oublietterecords.com/dclxvi) and have always been interested in such films. We were going back and forth with different films that we thought fit that theme. I brought up Tetsuo: The Iron Man which was, at the time, one of the few movies (aside from Eraserhead) that I could think of that fit in with the noise genre. He then mentioned your film, Reflections of Evil and called it the ultimate noise movie. He mentioned your name and it didn't occur to me at the time that you had also directed Dawn of the Evil Millennium which I had recently seen. Soon after hearing about Reflections of Evil I knew that I had to obtain a copy. I did some searching around the web and found your website. Someone needs to finance you or I will lose hope too! |
