| Message | I see your photos and I feel your heart. It is like seeing a Fellini film. I see your photos yesterdy for the first time. I have new account on Flickr....only one photo posted so far. I was in Rome many years ago when I was in the Navy. Very friendly place but it can be a bit scary. I find your sites most amazing. Your photos are some of the best I have seen so far of your subject. I share a glass of vino with you, my friend in a far distant city. |

I know very few people who are as observant as you and even fewer who take the time to reflect on what they observe and so passionately and compasionately and effectively communicate their thoughts and ideas, joy and anger, fears and certainties. I know it was not your intent in writing the last piece to draw attention to yourself, but I can't help noting that what you did for the man is so characteristically you. I think that in a certain way what you did for him you have done for all of us (at least for me). You are an amazingly selfless person - a bright and shining star in the midst of a vast sea of selfish and self-absorbed people (I think that includes me...) Thanks for being who you are. Cheers! |
