| Message | To All The Attendants @ AnimalsTaiwan Grand Opening Event, This is Justine Chen. Last night was my first time to attend a gathering event which filled with total strangers around me! Thanked god that someone finally approached and chit-chat with me when I sat and enjoyed the great food until the event was getting over. Actually I am also here for this --- I was sure that I took all the photos of those amazing foods that "senoRITA" had prepared for all of us at the party into my camera phone. However, when I came home, I tried to upload the photos to my online photo album. I found out that a few of them weren't be saved in my camera phone=(, which were the foods weren't being covered, being display on the table and people picking and eating the foods. If there are any attendants who have those photos that I mention above, I am hoping that you can share or send them to me. I'll be VERY VERY VERY appreciated!!!!!!! I sincerely would like to say "thank you", whomever you are, devote soooooooooo much time, energy and 愛心 to those poor stray dogs and cats, therefore, they are not stray ones anymore in Taiwan! Unfortunately, not all the shelters offer a appropreate environment like AT. I believe that many of members have heard there are some shelters are really terrible, such as small areas, hygine problems, and animals aren't being took good care of in Taiwan=( Again, I truly appreciate what AT have done so far very very much  |

| Message | i went to tw for a short visit back in spring of 2007 and ended up bring a stray dog bk home wiz me to canada~ I was attending this lantern festival thingy in Pin-Xi and saw someone kicking a poor little puppy that was still trying to suckle on its mother's milk~I wanna make sure the puppy wasnt hurt or anything so I followed it all the way to a shrine as it tried to escape for that wicked man who kicked her. At first the puppy kept its distant from me, it had its bk turned on me and didnt seemed to bother anything to do wiz human. I then tried crawling closer to her, poking her wiz the staw in my drink to see she wanna a sip (like its gonna happen..@@" , yea i know..i tried~i guess somehow i did earned her trust and i was able to pick her up. I found this ragged box and put her inside along wiz some shredded newspapers. Thats how I carried her all evening that day while watching the lantern festival, and also on my bk onto the MRT..~ For the next couple days I washed her with medicated soap coz she had some serious skin probelms, and also took her to a vet to be de-warmed. I took care of her for the next 2weeks and decided to bring her bk home wiz me coz shes such a sweetheart. I begged my mom like day and night to gain her ok for me to bring her bk. Now that I'm workin in Washington DC, shes living happily and healthily with my mom.My mom pampers her like a little princess, taking her stroll around our neighboring park each morning.Im so glad shes part of our family! |
