What with those staged letters on the plans for a Senior College and....dont those pics of foxes alongside the letters seem out of place, or, do they tell another story,    You guys are lucky will have a college campus in the Church Compound !!! |

We should be looking ahead not getting into dismantle mode. Surely St.John's doesnt intend to close down their Parish..... |

| Message |  I,BEING A STUDENT OF ST.JOHN'S SCHOOL AND JUNIOR COLLEGE.I'M PROUD AND OVERWHELMED TO HEAR THAT MY PARISH IS STARTING A SENIOR COLLEGE ALSO...ITS VERY HELPFUL TO WE "THANEKERS" BECAUSE I,BEING A FEMALE CHILD AND MANY MORE LIKE ME, WILL OVERCOME THE PROBLEMS AND DIFFICULTIES RELATED TO TRAVELLING.IT WILL ALSO BE A TRIBUTE TO ALL OUR ANCESTORS WHO LAID THE FOUNDATION OF ST.JOHN'S IN THANE AND HAVE SEEN THIS INSTITUTION GROW TO A SPAN OF A CENTURY AND THREE... | Message | The website is very informative. Suggestion : 1. Besides having a link to the Locusts and Honey, parishioners could also be invited to submit online articles. 2. For instance on 1st July the site could invite readers to send in articles on a particular topic (current / relevant to the church calender of the following month)with a deadline of say 15th of the month. 3. The chosen ones could be published online in the next month, i.e., August. Benefit :1. This would increase visits to the website. 2. More parishioners would opt for online subscription of L&H thus printing of the same will become more cost effective. 3. Will potray our Church as moving with the times. 4. Will attract more youth (internet users) involvement. |
