MessageThe fastest point in sailing, is when the boat is headed close into the wind. Similarly, the fastest way to success and accomplishment is to meet obstacles head on. It is a waste of effort and energy, to continually avoid and skirt around the unpleasant problems that stand in your way. Better to plow straight ahead, re-directing the energy of your fear so that it moves you forward. With the right attitude, the difficulties you face will supply the energy and motivation you need to move past them. Like sailing into the wind, it requires strength, focus and commitment. Yet nothing moves you faster, than being pushed ahead by the very things that stand in your way.

MessageHappy first birthday to our precious baby girl Sebanna Sarine, we love and miss her so so much and will never forget her, we remember even through the tears the happiness she bought into our lives. Happy 1st birthday Sebanna Mommy and Daddy love you!

A poem written for Sebanna by my cousin

Happy Birthday Sebanna,
So sad you would be 1 tomorrow
and we will not see your face
your little eyes all sparkley
and your smile smeared with cake

Your Mommy would be so happy
Your daddy filled with pride
As big brother and sister helped you
open your gifts to see inside

But you can still have a party
and everyone will clap
as you blow out your first candle
while you sit on Jesus lap

Happy First Birthday Precious Little Sebanna
Love, Christina

MessageI was thinking of Sebanna today and came to her site. She is such a beautiful little girl and was taken much too soon. I think of you often Lucy and pray that the holidays will bring you some comfort and cheer. I love you.

MessageHi Lucy and family-

I came across your story both on babycenter and now preeclampsia.org, & both times have been so drawn in by your heartache, your loss, and your unrelenting ability to try to find a way to make such good come of your tradgedies. I am pg with my 2nd, after PreE with the first that was dismissed by drs until I was literally delivering (pushing!)my preemie son. After losing 2 angels ourselves, I am now 30wks(a girl!);the bp is creeping up- the protein 1+ for 5 weeks now. BUT-Your courage has truly hit home-and I pray for you and your families health and recovery. Be proud of the amazing work you are doing to help inform families & the fundraising. You are an inspiration to other women every where-especially with all you have endured! Blessings to you all!
