Wow, you've done a fabulous job. I do object to myself being the only member pictured draging her butt out of the river. Who were the other three folks? I imagine we could round up a couple of nags for some of these people to ride if they come visit us from who knows where.

MessageWow, that is what horseback riding should be. I live in south Florida in an area that is very over crowded, you need to go to a horse park to ride safely. The landscape was gorgeous, makes me wish I was there. Truly it looks like a group of people really enjoying life with their horses. I enjoy caring for mine and being with them, but it would sure be nice to have an area so nice to ride in.

MessageBethanne, Yes we are insured. We also belong to California State Horsemen's Association.

We do send out a monthly newsletter, we do charge yearly dues. for a family it is only $35.00. We have members from Sacramento, to the Bay area, To as far south as Los Banos. and everywhere in between. smilie We have a great time!!!

MessageBeautiful photos! Our club started out pretty much the same as yours, but has gotten a bit too beauracratic (sp?) and Insurance rules don't let us invite non-members to trail rides, unless we register it as an open event, to which we are limited. Does your club have insurance? Do you charge dues? have a newsletter? do fund raising? I'm just curious!
