| Message | Hi Anonymous! I really appreciate your taking time off to teach me a lesson!!! However, with the ideals you have expressed about the legal profession, I see no reason why you have to hide behind “ANONIMITY” [sic]. For the record, I DO NOT SELL MY LEGAL KNOWLEDGE ONLINE. I am a lawyer and a computer programmer/software developer at the same time and I only sell one thing online, that is, the computer software “Everyone’s Legal Forms,” which is a full-featured legal software and that is what people pay for. In 2001, I digitized my 1997 Bar Exam Notebooks and made them available online for FREE. I also have a book “Public International Law Bar Reviewer” published by Rex Bookstore, Inc., which I announced and promote in my website. However, I do not sell it online. The same is being sold at all Rex Bookstore branches in the whole Philippines. But if you will look closely at my website, I have also made available as FREE downloads two important chapters of the said book: the chapters on “International Humanitarian Law” and “International Criminal Law.” I have also been writing and compiling articles about “Bar Exam Tips, Techniques and Strategies.” For your information, the same are also available for FREE at my website. | Message | Good morning. Would have been better if the legal profession as what we have learned in law school would be given the true implication of service for the people. It is not for profit but a profession. I would have admire you if you do not sell your knowledge on line but share it to those who know less in life. Of course, to ask for a fee in your practise would be just right, but not on line? I am quite disappointed as to legal professional who do this for it mocks the aoth taken and have even memorized by heart by all barristers even before we all become lawyers. |
