MessageMy kids are the same way, they have been counting down the days for weeks now. Taylor keeps wanting to sing Jingle Bells and Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer... She of course always asks us to sing along, and of course we do... smilie

MessageI have even used Glenda's glucometer a couple of times and it is very easy, so I would think they could just tell you how to use. The only think that Glenda mentions is to make certain there is enough blood on the strip so it can be read.
In regards to the kids too many people do not think about their actions. Be careful, people are watching and what you do can affect lives. I am very proud of you.

MessageSorry to hear that you do have diabetes but as the others have said, hopefully it will be over once Jacob is here. It is a bad time not to be able to eat what you want, all the Christmas goodies, etc. I certainly can't anything about anyone eating habbits, all who know me very well (doesn't have to be too well, actually) knows that I rather eat sweets than the stuff thats good for you. Glad I have good genes, I feel fine and have good reports from my check ups but that could always change, HOPE NOT.
Yes, setting a good example is very important for your children, they always watch what you do, not what you say.
