| Message | hi cori~ just wanted to leave you a note of appreciation for your site. i've lived here in japan for a couple years now and love j-pop. i'm part-japanese and can read hiragana and katakana pretty well but have a hard time with reading kanji. i bother my friends a lot to help me out with lyrics to songs i like - and they do - but at times i feel like a pain to them and try it out myself. i found your site when i first moved here out of a want to sing some songs at karaoke that wouldn't bore my japanese friends to death. i've printed up your romaji words and literally taken them with me so i can perform them. your work has helped me better study and understand not only the japanese language, but also the beautiful poetry and thought process that goes into writing lyrics in a contemporary japanese style. my brother & i actually released our own debut cd from a major label this summer and sing some of the songs i studied off of your website at some of our live shows. so to make a short story extra long, THANKS FOR YOUR HARD WORK  i really appreciate your time and efforts, and someday hope i'm famous enough to have you post my own lyrics on your site! arigatou ne~  |
