|Message||Great site, a few of my grail watches in there specifically the certina ds-2 super ph-500.|
I have been looking for one for a while and have been unable to find any for sale, any suggestions as where to look??
|Message||Nice Collection! I was curious if you know anything about this watch? It is a rare Omega 200M|
i just bought, it Supposedly used by the French Service Hydrographique and Oceanographique, a deep sea diving branch of the French Marines. Can you shed any light on it. FYI- The crown does not screw down and the owner says that is original, what are your thoughts.
|Message||Amazing collection of dive watches you have. Did'nt realize there was such a wide variety. I have a Heuer Quartz 1000 dive watch, all stainless steel. I purchased the watch through a dive shop back in 1986. I still wear it. I recently bought a new Tag Heuer Aquaracer automatic dive watch. Let's see if it is as good as my 1000 series. Mike.|
terrific collection and beautiful pictures of the watches! And I relly apreciate the "hall of shame" - that´s exactly the kind of information non-experts need who just want to buy a great timepiece an trust "truthful" sellers...
By he way: Besides a couple of "Citizen Promaster Aqualands" I own a "Precimax Aquamax Safety" and a "Aquastar Benthos II" which I learned is pretty rare - so rare that even watchmakers here in Switzerland who specialized in repairing old watches don´t know it - and me having a hard time finding someone to replace the battery (it´s said to have one of the first quarz-movements...) and getting an original strap or bracelet. So if You - or anybody else who reads this - can give me any informmation about a Benthos II please send it to me - I would realy appreciate it!!!
Keep on going with this great homepage, it´s unique on the internet!
