MessageWell done. A great site, clearly a labour of love and beyond the call of duty - even for a dedicated R's supporter! Good interview with Mr Power - even if his memory is nearly as hazy as mine. The Goons were not transmitted on Sunday afternoons. The show was on the Home Service, not the Light Programme. For a split second I wondered if he might be confusing the Goons with the Gooners - but remembered that in those days there was no Sky TV telling the FA when the fixtures must be played!
