| Message | I would like to share a story with you that means alot to me. My parents divorced when I was 6 years old, when I was 9 years old my Dad took me to my very first wrestling show here in Perth, Australia. It was 1986 and Lanny was on the show, I clearly remember jumping up and down when he came out and yelling very loudly. My Dad who didn't know Lanny asked me who he was and I smiled and said "It's Leaping Lanny, he throws frisbees! he is the coolest!". For my Dad and I to share this experience together when I was going through an emotional rollercoaster with the divorce it just really made me so happy. I want to thank Lanny for being a big part in that happiness. |

| Message | By the power of "The Genius" and the intellect of a Super Fan. I tell this tale widely, thru out all the land. Take it from Lanny, and his life of renown. A good attitude, will never let you down. While others lost their jobs, his he still kept. Into the hearts of the fans, he soon would have leapt. When it was time to turn heel, Boston got really pissed. At "The Genius" they all soon, shook an angry fist!! As the years went on Lanny would plan. For the eventual retirement now at hand. I conclude this poem with hardy thanks. For a career worthy of the hall of fame ranks. PS  "Hulk Hogan, You can't do that !" PS PS.. Yes I need a life.. LOL  |

| Message | As a subscriber to PW Torch I have followed Wade Kellers interview with Lanny. I found the piece to be interesting and insightful. I decided to take a closer look at the man Lanny Poffo. I found a 6 part interview with him on youtube and enjoyed this interview as well. It is great to listen to an intelligent and well spoken former professional wrestler. Lanny seems to be a down to earth type guy. He is a true ambassador of professional wrestling. It is guys like him who should be called upon to talk to the national media when professional wrestling is brought into the mainstream media. |
