| Message | Lanny, my heart is still very heavy. Thursday I watched as my dear sweet friend buried her 20 year old son and this would not be if drinking and drugs had not been involved. The particluars of it are not as important as to the why of it. They took him off life support last Sunday night. You have the power out there with your magnificent website, your work with children, to somehow maybe reach them about the dangers of drinking and drugging. SO please keep up the work. You are a positive force out there. A positive role model. Somewhere, somehow,someone will be listening and receive the message. Although he was 20, he was still very much a baby to me, the same age as my Ben. And now I have to watch his mother and father and I pray and pray for the children in our country who are so easily influenced by Brittany Spears, Paris Hilton, and the list goes on and on...for were we not once influenced by the likes of Jim Morrisson, Janis Joplin, John Belushi? You haved lived a good clean life, but I know firsthand how easily it is to be trapped by the seduction of it all. Keep up the fantastic work with children, not only on smoking, but the rest of it as well. You have the vehicle to reach many. I don't. thank you for letting me put this on your website. GOD BLESS YOU for who you are and all you do!!! |

| Message | Dear Lanny, I met you in Salt Lake City in 1990. You were the nicest wrestler I've ever met. I was only 16 and you were like the big brother I never had. Thanks for looking after me and NEVER taking advantage. I wish I could say the same for the other wrestlers but that's WHY you're so special! |
