MessageI was with HHQ, 2/14, personnel, from 5/67-6/68. I have visited BK 3 times since 2000, most recently 12/04. The downtown area has changed very little. We had a great meal at the Ratskeller and beers at several places near the marktplatz. The outdoor Xmas market has expanded quite a bit. Most businesses are still the same as in 68, but the no cars zone seems to have gotten bigger in the downtown area. We also visited Fulda, Bad Bruckenau, Wildflicken and Schweinfurt. You can find quite a bit of information on the internet at BadKissingen.de.

MessageI'll try this for a second time. Seems I left off the e-mail address. My name is Rick Beecherl.

Hello to all those in H Company from 8/69 through 1/71. I spent most of my tour in Hdgtr Platoon working in the motor pool as the Turret Mechanic. Myself and Randy Busch arrived there together and left together 19 months later. Randy was the engine mechanic. Bill Carithers and Tom Dissinger were our mentors/teachers as we replaced them when they left. If you happen to read this and remember those years send me a message at [email protected]

I plan to join the Association and the wife and I are planning to attend the Reunion in 2005. Hope that some other from H Company can make the trip.

MessageHello to all my former friends of E-Troop, 2/14 ACR! I was a mechanic (63C20) from February, 64 through August, 66 spending many hours in the E-Troop Motor Pool with Sgt. Frady and other fellow mechanics. Our E-Troop C/O was Capt. John Croxx when I arrived, changing over to Lt. Curtis Rosler by mid-64. The follwoing were my roommates and closest friends; Ray Whitley, Bob Skuravskis, Curtis Carlson, Jimmy Ross, Chuck White, Jim Saltern, Jim Gunnels, and Bob Matsumoto (HQ-Troop), there were many others, but the names seem to fade over time. If anyone of you out there remembers, or not, SP/5 Gary Garris it would be my privlidge to comunicate with you about our past and present. Suivez Moi, Gary Garris.
