| Message | Hacksaw, how are things? Glad to see you and your family doing well in the real estate business and whatever else you are doing wrestling wise. It would be great to see you and you deserve to be in the WWE Hall of Fame! I've followed your career from when you were just Big Jim Duggan in the old Georgia territory to Mid-South, Texas, UWF, and WWE and WCW. Have had the pleasure to have met you in Titusville and just wish you to do one more run in WWE against Hassan. It would be a great storyline even for a few weeks or so. Can't understand why some fans and wrestling commentators like Brian Fritz, Dickerman and Vito don't think you are a worthy competitor. Even without a belt, Hacksaw gets the top pops when he comes into the ring, and instantly the fans go, USA! That is as much a 'title' as a WWE or World Title in my opinion. The fact he beat the Big C is inspiring enough not to just wrestling fans but fans of any sport. Jim, keep up the great work in wrestling and good luck in your other business ventures. | Message | Hacksaw like so many others I grew up watching you and Hogan. You are a classic and a legend. Got to meet you at an ECPW event in Jersey last year. It was sadly one of the Big Boss Man's last events that night. But I still yelled HOOOO!!! like a little kid when your music went off. | Message | I grew up in the 80's and nothing flashes faster in my memory than watching WWF wrestling and seeing good ole' Hacksaw Jim Duggan carrying the American flag and chanting USA!. Mr. Duggan, you may not have held many titles, but in my eyes you were just as big as Hulk Hogan. I miss seeing the glory days of wrestling and hearing a packed stadium chanting and stomping and rooting for Jim Duggan. I know you earned the respect and admiration of this man, and as long as I live, i'll never forget the 80's and Hacksaw Jim Duggan. Thanks for the memories! |
