| Message | I was stationed in Bad Hersfeld, HQ 3rd Bn/Sqdn 14th AC from April 1959 through Oct 1962. I was a member of the Commo Platoon (Radio Repair and Ground Surv. Radar Repair/Operator). Left with the rank of SP4. I went back to Bad Hersfeld in 1965(I was stationed at the USA Depot Pirmasens, with the 503rd Maint Bn Kitzingen, and at the Signal School in Lenggries), then again in 1985, and in 2006 (My Wife Lydia has a Brother and Sister living there. We will be going back again in September/October 2009. I plan to spend time taking pictures of what the Kansern looks like now. Ralph Gustafson |
