| Message | To be fair one final defeat does not make a bad team. There are obviously issues that need sorting, butI am certain Windlaw will always be a force to be reckoned with. The standards have been set and Windlaw must maintain them so the rest can aspire to our level of sustained success. Nobody is bigger than the club itself |

| Message | The phrase washing.. public... comes to mind and some fair points made, however, I feel obliged to respond to previous comment. I would concede that age is a factor in performance, or lack of, however, in my opinion a willingness to win and effort through 90 mins, ESPECIALLY WHEN BEHIND are attributes that should be sought even moreso than youth, though unfortunately hard to find. That's what should really matter! Winners don't have an age limit. Like other times this season when we go down some people look for others to blame, instead of picking themselves, and others, up and try to IMPROVE THEIR OWN AND THE TEAM PERFORMANCE in the time that remains. The game was still there to claw back even when 2 down. With 20 or so to go frustration has to focused into a positive otherwise only the opposition benefit. An absolute simple truth we should all know. You should also note that one of the best attitudes was from one of the oldest guys on the pitch. He ran the show for them, that's what we should be aspiring to. He was an example to the young lads around him and carried them with him. He deservedly won the MOM award. Despite his age. Seniority does not necessarily mean a lack of quality.  |

| Message | Today's pitiful show undoubtedly should signal the end of this glorious era for the club.Sad as it is,the reality is,this team now needs broken up and four or five quality players brought in.Martin,put your stamp on the team now,get the sand and cement out and rebuild this team.Its been a superb 10 years though and credit to that side.Windlaw have set all the standards in the league and made the standard what it is today.While the other pretenders fell or quit,Windlaw kept winning even with an ageing squad.One day soon,the team will be back though,then we'll see how the other teams respond to trying to stay at the top for such a long time.Great credit to Clydebank,a young and hungry side,they thoroughly desrved their triumph today.As for the League,shame on you yet again,for a linesman to be phoned 15 minutes before a final to tell him he should be there is really poor.Finals should be showcases,but they're being treated with total disrespect. Windlaw for life! |
