It was unexpected when the phone calls came expressing true interest in our well being but I am deeply grateful for the ongoing support that your family has extended to ours. | Message | I would like to take this moment to sincerely thank all the players and supporters of team Wanderers United for a very positive 2005 season. In this first season of existance we were able to prove that we as an organization have arrived and we intend to be here well into the future. Although faced with the normal bumps associated with growing pains we were able to overcome and move on..something which I believe to be a good sign of things to come. As Team Wanderers United faces 2006, we intend to work even harder than ever to make our club a success and to bring the Wanderers United family even closer. With the support and respect of each other and functioning only as a complete unit can we be able to go foward and be the best. So to all the positive people out there who helped us with advice and support and other things... you know who you are.. Thankyou!! This has been the Wanderers United first year, as a club and as an organization and though there is no measuring stick in place, it can be considered a great success. As an organization we encountered the expected growing pains, but mostly we enjoyed the successes that helped foster new friendships, new awareness and new insights, both personal and social. Wanderers United is poised to be a unit that can only get better, we can only improve, for there is no alternative. We have weathered the storms of the first year and silenced the nay sayers. But our mode should be one of humility; one of reflection and our focus should be on how we can make this experience a better one.
