| Message | Sunny, I'm glad you have a new single out but I just don't understand the two songs chosen for singles thus far. I am a big fan of both Kasey Chambers and Elizabeth Cook (and her hubby Tim Carroll who wrote the song) but "If I Could" is probably my least favorite song on your album. "Ten Years Pass" is also a fine song BUT the songs that give me goosebumps are "Here Lately", "Lavender Blue" and Audrey Auld Mezera's "Next Big Nothing" all three of which are standout cuts. Okay, I'll admit I'm a dedicated fan of traditional country and honky tonk music and don't pay much mind to the Americana radio realm since we have no such stations here in Los Angeles and I don't have satellite radio. All I know is what I like, but regardless I hope the new single does well and gains you a bunch of new fans. PS - We have to get you into a much wider sphere of gig locations! Texans cannot keep you all to themselves! Occasional ventures to Europe and the Grand Ole Opry don't count either. Fred Eaglesmith just played the historic "The Mint" club (since 1937!) here in Los Angeles, and if he can do it so can you! I gave Fred a copy of your album and told him he needed to invite you to perform at one of his weekend long concert events. If you were coming to the big Stagecoach concert in Indio, CA in May I'd go! Scott Borchetta needs to put more oomph behind you! (lol) |

| Message | I.d just like to say that I attended Sunnys gig In Blackburn as a spur of the moment kinda thing, but I'm really glad that I did. It was a revelation. this girl is fresh & vibrant, whilst still sticking pretty close to the good old Country premise of singing songs about personal life influences. Although I'm not strictly a Country fan, Sunny has certainly made me re-think my musical preferences. I have darn near worn out Heartbreakers Hall of Fame, it's about time I got a new copy. Happy trails Sunny. |
