Message	You are very wrong. My family was in the holocaust so don't try and re-write history to back it in line with your racist beliefs. Pt is 100% correct in the definition of the word. It was told to me by my Grandfather and Grand Uncle about the herding of Jews into concentration camps and the words that the Germans used. Words have meanings and they transend to other meanings over time. The English word nigger used by the English to describe people that was niggardly later used to describe people of Indian decent that they considered dirty will have a different meaning when used to a black person in America. Maybe the word has a different meaning to you or to other people in todays society but that doesn't change the hurt behind the word. Would you like to be called Gay. The word means happy jovial fun-loving. Now it means something else. If I say you are gay it has negative meaning 50 years ago it was considered a very kind word that was used in children songs and shows.

You do know what Yiddish is don't you. Yiddish is a Jew that lived in Germany and may have or not been part German. The word schmuck comes from an Austrian word that was translated into Yiddish. The word was used during World War 2 by Germans as an insult in reference to Jews being taken into concentration camps where they were executed by gas, poison and burned alive in ovens. Tweleve million people were exterminated like this because of who they were Jews, homosexuals, athiest or anyone that didn't fit the ideal Aryan Race. Maybe before you use the word again you can read Hitler's book Mien Kampf "My Struggle" and see where you would have fit in under Hitlers plan to "purify" the planet of non-Aryan people.
