Anyone interested in my answers can scroll down and see how I've answered your simple ill-informed questions. You should stop spending so much time watching TV and clean that pig pen you live in. Do you realize TV makes money off advertisements. If all you hear is that everything is wonderful nobody watches ad $ go down. Ad $ go down profits go down. So they have to make it sound as if the world is coming to an end to get simpletons like you to watch so that they can have more viewers and raise their ad rates and make more money. I'm sure you're a very nice lady to know. I think maybe you might even be pretty. I might would like to be with you but as far as talking to you I find it suffering. I feel like that guy in Dante's Inferno that was destined to spend eternety pushing a boulder up a hill. How many Americans have died liberating Afganistan (taliban) and Iraq (saddam Hussein)? How many Americans died liberating the Philippines from the Japanese? Many more than have died in Afganistan and Iraq. You should be happy that there is a country that doesn't mind dying to clean up a mess others will not or wont bother to clean up. If the USA is on the way out as you seem to believe and more importantly wish for just make plans first for what will happen to you next. Maybe an Indonesian Hitler comes along who decides it is his destiny to unite all Malays and kill all Christians. If so maybe you should buy yourself a burka and a pray rug and try them on and get use to them. Or more than likely China will decide to anex you for your farmland or to colonize you with their numerous single male population (due to infanticide of baby girls) so that they can't cause trouble at home. Either way Philippines has shown a history of taking a licking and waiting for someone else to come a rescue them. Do you know than when USA won the Spanish-American war and won Philippines along with it that the USA actually tried to sell them to the Brittish. The Brittish took one look and said no. So the Americans offered to give the Philippines to them and they still refused to take you for free. |

| Message | Which country, known for being superpower, is now experiencing economic recession, that severely hurt real estate, investments, and savings? A recession is often defined as two or more consecutive quarters of negative growth. That has not currently happened eventhough GDP growth can be revised in the future. The boom and bust cycle describes the cycle of economic upswings and downswings in the business economy and is considered inseparable from capitalism. It is a natural part of an economy. The economy is not in recession so it could not have caused a problem with real estate but many including myself believe that the problems with real estate have caused the US to go into recession that will be revised at a later date to show that it started in November or December of 2007. The problems with real estate began with low interest rate and mortgage brokers making loans to people that could not afford to make payments. Also builders built too many homes that they were unable to sell. Once houses aren't being built then construction workers have no jobs and the lack of money paid to them coupled with the money paid by home buyers for furniture, beddings and other things that they feel they need for a new house. |

| Message | USA is now experiencing from severe economic downfall. Thousands of jobs are lost everyday. Thousands of businesses are closing down. Thousands of American families couldn't afford the high costs of education. Thousands of homes are foreclosed. Thousands of investments have been losing enormously. Millions of Americans are complaining for high gas and other commodity prices. Millions of Americans are now in financial distress. Those were all true. In fact, US government is giving away 600-1,200 dollars this May to people as tax rebate, in its immediate goal to save the economy from total collapse. This is their way to put the dollars back in mobility. Will it succeed? PT might know. My point here is, the Philippine situation is no different from the rest of the world, not even far different from USA, that unfortunately some Filipinos like PT, highly idolize. Corruption is in the Philippines and so are in other countries, like USA. Now, PT, tell me, where do "American discipline and good management" bring them? Economic collapse? WTC attack in 09-11? Bringing home thousands of American soldiers dead from stupid war? Millions of aged parents in nursing homes? More university students massacre? Hundreds of veteran soldiers begging in the streets and are living in homeless shelters? This goes by saying that you're not an inch different from me and the rest of my fellow Marbelians. One thing stays, I'm happy for who I am because I was born & grew up here. |
