Messagethe "This seasons programme" of your website is poor- i was interested in the Storytellers, having seen a flyer at work, so visited your website for the first time to find out more- suprisingly there was little information other than the ticket price and date. i hate to say it but the whole website has a distictly amateurish look to it. MessageDear Martin,
we am pleased that you enjoyed the Rodney Bewes show recently. However, in response to your post, as a Local Council we are not in the habit of providing anybody with free drinks, no matter who that person is. We have a responsibility to our council tax payers to be prudent and the bar staff were only following their instructions. Had they supplied a free drink they would have undergone a disciplinary hearing.
As we have regular, independant stock-takes, a measure of brandy would be missed from the bottle.

The response we have had back from Mr. Bewes is that he was extremely satisfied with the service received from the theatre and he will be more than happy to perform at the Bonington Theatre again. I am also sure that he was greatful of the drink that was supplied by your wife.
Thank you for your comments and we look forward to seeing you at the theatre again soon.
