| Message | I sought your site after I read the book written by Ed Silvoso "Women: God's Secret Weapon." For years I have been asking God why women have been so discrimnated even in Christian churches. My frustration led me to seek answers elsewhere. In the Philippines, it is very common to see women violated, disregarded and put in the margins of society. Though they comprise half or more than half of our population, they are regarded less important than the male members of society. Whatever changes or improvement in the condition of Filipina women, seemed to have been a result of feminist efforts. I was so thankful God allowed me to have access to the book, "Women: God's Secret Weapon." Now I know better. I hope to be able to join your future seminars or training trips on issues of gender. | Message | Hey everyone!! Wow...it has been so long since I have seen all you and I miss you tremendously. The time when I was injured in the Philippines (now I can walk) I really enjoyed the opportunity given to play piano during an evening coffee shop worship set up, thank you for loving me and welcoming me into your church. The Lord is definetly alive & at work within Harvest & I was very challenged every Sunday I attended there. I appreciate the digging into scripture & not just glossing over relating scripture to certain topics presented..it was real solid ground truth which I desire every day here in America. It seems there are a lot of churches watering down scripture today just to make people feel good or entertain others. Thank you for your faithful sharing the Gospel & helping other understand how to study the Bible and learning to disect scripture instead of just reading it. I do really hope to come back to the Philippines someday w my husband Brenden when the Lord allows . Thank you for showing the love of Christ to me while I was visiting there as a missionary in the Philippines. By the way..I never knew the whole history behind Harvest Christian Fellowship. What a testimony & encouragement and I hope to find a church somewhere here in MN. I only wish the Philippines was closer because you can bet I would be there. Hope you had a Merry Christmas!!!
