We've been getting some very much needed rain. Infact it rained most of the day today. It sure is making the burned areas green up. It is greener now than it has been all summer here.

I went to a wedding today (no, not mine!) but left before all the drinking, dancing and fireworks. It was a wonderful early evening outdoor wedding with a cool breeze and beautiful farmland backdrop. I was sitting here at the computer reading about your days and heard some noise outside - it was the fireworks. I went out and watched - not bad for 7 miles away - and thought to myself, this is a good day. Then I wondered what really constitutes a "good" day and a "bad" day? Is it all relative and based purely on the perception of an arbitrary standard? Should we raise or lower our standards or keep them as they are? I also wondered why I would want to wish you a good day when I could wish you a GREAT FRIGGIN' DAY? Being the sacreligious one that I am this is going to sound crazy but I guess what I would wish for you is all that God has in mind for you - whatever that may be...they don't call it "blind" faith for nothing!
Keep fighting the good fight - and call if you feel like arguing about anything - I just love stirring your pot!
