MessageShane,
I am a TV producer in Tucson, Arizona. You were kind enough to do an interview with us after your bull ride at the Tucson Rodeo in February of 2004. Today I was busy working on our rodeo special for the 2006 Tucson Rodeo and looking at old tapes and found your interview! I had just read the update about you in the PSN and had been thinking about you. In that interview, you said "you just have to have a positive attitude and keep on going." I had been thinking about putting an update on you in our rodeo special and now that I came across that interview, I think it is fate! I will put it in our special and encourage people to check out your website and say a little prayer for your continued recovery because we definitely want to see you back in Tucson again!
Your fans in Tucson,

Hey Shane, my name is John Martinotti and I’m a fine art photographer and a PRCA photographer as well. As I was eating my breakfast food this morning and reading the PSN at the same time dripping milk all over the pages, I came across your story and then went to your website once I got into work so I could learn more about you and the test God if giving you right now.

Our paths may have crossed without ever knowing it as I photograph PRCA rodeo events and continue to work on my book “American Raw Hide.” Anyways, I just wanted to say, keep up the fight and beat that bloody cancer. I wish you all God blessing and as I go to work today, you will be heavily on my mind. I will keep you in my prayers that one day you will truly be cancer free forever.

If there is anything you need please feel free to contact me at any time and it will be my pleasure.

I’ll continue to follow up on your webpage to see how you’re doing and look forward to our paths crossing someday.

Take Care Shane

Sincerely,

John J. Martinotti

MessageHowdy Shaner.

I just wanted to drop you a quick note to tell you I think of you daily and continue my prayers for you and your family.

I'm sure you're glad to be done with the recent round of treatments. God bless you.

Life is going well for me. I'm so fortunate that after all this time and all these gray hairs, I've finally found the love of my life. That relationship continues to get better each day.

Take care, and give me a shout sometime.

Ted

MessageHi Shane---This IS great weather. Maybe you can suggest they move the bull ridings outside, since we are obviously in the banana belt smilie
I have been working this week, which has caused a dilemma, since they are doing lots of cattle work and I have been unavailable. So I guess I get to go be a cattlewoman tomorrow. I hope it stays nice. I was glad to be indoors today with the wind blowing. Our pens get pretty dusty.
Have a great weekend!

MessageShane:

I have been filming rodeos all over the country for almost 18 years, and I have not gotten a chance to meet you like I have many of the other cowboys. I want you to keep fighting this thing so one day I can watch/film you ride and come shake your hand after you pick up your check at the pay window!
