MessageHey Shane. You are certainly entitled to have low spirits. You shouldn't have any guilt about that. I guess you just have to keep thinking about all the gifts you've received as a result of this cancer; wisdom, friendships, love, and knowing your purpose on earth (to keep Chad in line...), to name a few. Just kidding, Chad. Is your hip better? I sure hope so. Love and prayers, Wendy

MessageI've been thinkin' a lot about you lately, Shane. No, not that way. Shoot, Robin'd love that, wouldn't she?

Just wanted you to know you're in my thoughts and prayers daily.

I've been in Maryville, Mo., a month, and already I've been asked about helping the Elks Lodge put on its annual rodeo. I think I'll wait before jumping in on that one. I'm still overwhelmed trying to get the Guymon rodeo stuff done in time, and I live nine hours from Guymon now.

You ought to try to make it if you're up to it. It ought to be one heck of a show.

Give me a shout sometime.

Ted

MessageSorry to hear the spots in your lung are growing. smilie . Hope that the treatment on your hip is helping out ... Did you have a Happy Easter?? My grandma had us all for dinner, she is doing great still for turning 90 in Feb. this year... She makes a mean lemon pie, maybe even a little better than yours. smilie .. I am starting to do some work up stairs in the boys rooms and I need to paint the paneling in the south bedroom, I was wishing you were here to puddy all the lines in it... since that is so much fun. smilie ..The next few weeks are going to be super busy here, joys of spring smilie and lots of cattle and kids.... Peter is having 6th grade graduation on May 12 so I need to get things spruced up by then...
Are you still able to do judging for the bull riders.. smilie . ?
Remember that God loves Shane and we do TOO...

MessageHi Shane---We hope your treatment helped with the pain and you have a great weekend. Glad to hear you are still looking good---when did that happen though? smilie smilie smilie
I have been BUSY! I'm behind on my harrowing and need to start riding horses to get ready for the cattle drive. Are you going to come over this year for it? It's May 16, mark it down!
Mat's family went to Lincoln for the weekend, so it will just be us old folks here for dinner tomorrow. Not nearly as lively as when they are here. But I'm sure the other grandparents are happy to see them. The boys helped me plant cedar trees last week. That was pretty funny. They were good help. I hope they always like to work that much!!
Happy Easter!!!!

MessageHello Shane!

Jenae and I just wanted to let you know we are thinking about you and praying for you. Jenae is excited you are coming home. She will be really happy to see Daisy too. smilie
Jenae does the strangest thing everytime I open the refrigerator, she finds the maple syrup and gets it out and says "this is Shane's" I keep meaning to tell you that little story but I do not think of it when I talk to you.

Kyle is still out in California. It has been cool and rainy most of the time he has been out there.

We are looking forward to seeing you soon!

MessageJust wanted to let you know that we are all thinking of you here in Dunning. Hopefully the Drs will just tell you that you should slow down a bit and that it's just old age... smilie
The boys have been having fun making mud pies. Yesterday, Reece decided that he'd like to wear one. Wish I had a picture of that! smilie
Well, take care and let us know what you find out. smilie
