| Message | Gene has never run the yellow ranger or the S-10 in stock street at Haw Hill. He ran them in super street and renagade. He may have run his brown fullsize Ford in stock street at one time...but I think it was super street also. Take a look at hawhillmudracing.com at results. It tells you the name and class, but does not tell you what they were driving. They tried the inspection, tags, and insurance at Wallace for street class. Trucks showed up with no mufflers,horns,wipers,or dash. They also had plexiglass windshields..all had tags, and inspection stickers!! The trouble with stock is the ability to check the engines cheap and quick. Vacuum is a good start..but not always the final answear. This is still a problem at most tracks.I don't know the answear. You can make any truck run for 40 miles with enough radiator, jets and timming. Haw Hill puts 4,6,and 8 cyl together in street stock. More in the class..more money to the winners. How many times did a 4 or 6 cyl win the v-8 class here?? Even the points leader is a 6 cyl. I hope we can all keep enjoying this track for years to come... |

| Message | to guestbook reader,you dont make a bit of sense,I suggested some class ideas that works at alot of out of town tracks that bring in large numbers of trucks to their races.less classes means moremoney to split among the drivers,some street trucks and prostock type trucks like to step up and run the big classes just to say they did and some get lucky and place in the money.I didnt suggest this to fix it so 1 or 2 trucks could dominate the classes,the only trucks that would have to really step up their game would be the dot classes and with the money being put in them the compettion would be great.everybody wants to win a little money to help on expenses so another thing to add is garaunteed purses like hills and hole gets, after all the flattrack is what got it all started. |

| Message | the way i see it is the definition stock....=STOCK 2008 dodge ram hemi with stock tires....stock!!!you change 1 thing your super street...seems like you all want to set up the classes to win every weekend...if your in it for money...youve got problems already...15 years ago street,super street,and mod really worked well,until we made more classes...just a thought.im not trying to be a smart !@# ..good chat like this should help us get to a midle road for all to enjoy....  |
